A Chicago native and alumna of both Kenwood Academy and Northern Illinois University, Kenya’s path has been defined by her deep-seated commitment to social impact. Facing the challenges of early motherhood in the city taught her firsthand the power of grit and the necessity of forging a path forward regardless of one's starting point. These life lessons drive her mission to show young women that their history is not their destiny. Her extensive background in youth advocacy, including working with those in the justice system, highlighted an urgent need for stability and housing for vulnerable young women. Through Future Faces, NFP, Kenya builds nurturing environments where girls can foster self-worth, explore professional paths, and transform ambitious dreams into concrete realities.
